Here you go. All the books I’m dying to read that are releasing before the year ends. What’s incredible for me is that we’re getting TWO Victoria Schwab books not even a month apart from each other!
So, I’m back!
Feels totally weird typing into this little WP box once again after such a long time, but hey, I decided I wanted to bring bookish Estefi back (not that I ever went away or anything) It’s just that I decided to revive this little space of mine I created over two years ago.
It’ll be a little different this time around though. I want it to be more spontaneous and just post whatever I feel like posting, and not worrying about always having content to share.
You can find me on Goodreads and Instagram. Those are way more fun 😛

Release Day Review + Excerpt: Heat Wave by Karina Halle
They say when life closes one door, another one opens.
This door happens to lead to paradise.
And a man I can never, ever have.
Still grieving the loss of her sister who died two years ago, the last thing Veronica “Ronnie” Locke needed was to lose her job at one of Chicago’s finest restaurants and have to move back in with her parents. So when a window of opportunity opens for her – running a kitchen at a small Hawaiian hotel – she’d be crazy not to take it.
The only problem is, the man running the hotel drives her crazy:
Logan Shephard.
It doesn’t matter that he’s got dark brown eyes, a tall, muscular build that’s sculpted from daily surfing sessions, and a deep Australian accent that makes your toes curl.
What does matter is that he’s a grump.
Kind of an asshole, too.
And gets under Ronnie’s skin like no one else.
But the more time Ronnie spends on the island of Kauai, falling in love with the lush land and its carefree lifestyle, the closer she gets to Logan. And the closer she gets to Logan, the more she realizes she may have pegged him all wrong. Maybe it’s the hot, steamy jungles or the invigorating ocean air, but soon their relationship becomes utterly intoxicating.
There’s just one major catch.
The two of them together would incite a scandal neither Ronnie, nor her family, would ever recover from.
Forbidden, Illicit, off-limits – sometimes the heat is worth surrendering to, even if you get burned.

Review
May I present to you another 2016 favorite. Yes, that’s my opening sentence. Heat Wave not only managed to make me feel absolutely everything and then some, it actually made want to hop on a plane an experience Kauai for myself. It’s intensity, page to page, chapter to chapter, is what made this novel so memorable for me, I love love stories that keep me up at night and then eager to wake up in the mornings just to keep savoring the goodness.
Review: Moonshot by Alessandra Torre
Baseball isn’t supposed to be a game of life and death…
The summer that Chase Stern entered my life, I was seventeen. The daughter of a legend, the Yankees were my family, their stadium my home, their dugout my workplace. My focus was on the game. Chase… he started out as a distraction. A distraction with sex appeal poured into every inch of his six foot frame. A distraction who played like a god and partied like a devil.
I tried to stay away. I couldn’t.
Then, the team started losing.
Women started dying.
And everything in my world broke apart.
Pub Date: July 4th 2016 | Page Count: 314 pp
RATING: 2.5 STARS | Sports Romance, Suspense
Review
Moonshot is a suspenseful sports romance, where for the most part I didn’t enjoy the story, but I still found bits and pieces I really did like.
